So my suggestion to anyone else that can't run their RAM at XMP timings is to remove their GPU card and try booting with the integrated graphics of the processor and try setting XMP for their RAM then to see if it works. if it does, the RAM sticks are good and they need to use a better and cooler GPU card. 08-28-2014 07:13 PM #9 Nate152
Web. Aug 24, 2021 · The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 has 6-cores and 12-threads. And, the base clock speed is up to 3.6GHz and the maximum boost clock speed is up to 4.2GHz as well. However, the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 provides 35MB cache memory and also provided TPD which is 65W. Additionally, the memory frequency found here's 3200MHz, which is quite durable..
Nov 22, 2021 · My asus z590 motherboard is running the ram for my i7-11700k at 2666ghz but I’m afraid to turn XMP on I heard people saying it will void the CPU warranty, is basically overclocking, etc and even if your cpu does support higher speeds (which it does, 3200ghz) i’ve heard you should configure the RAM manually since XMP is sometimes buggy and won’t configure the RAM settings right.
Oct 27, 2020 · XMP stands for Extreme Memory Profile. XMP essentially allows you to change memory latency and speed from the standard 2133MHz to the advertised speed and latency. XMP is disabled by default for compatibility reasons. Manufacturers have agreed to a minimum standard for memory performance (2133Mhz), which all RAM modules meet by default.
